New Life Center exists to transform lives and empower believers for ministry.  The church is the spiritual body of Christ on the earth commissioned to fulfill the mandate given by Jesus Christ. 15And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

The church is built on Jesus Christ. Biblical doctrine concerning the identity of Jesus, New Testament Salvation and Righteous lifestyle must never be compromised. They are the foundation of our faith and salvation. However the church must be able to relate to society and therefore be flexible in methods of evangelism. Marketing methods must adapt to a constantly changing society and connect them with the timeless, unchanging gospel.

We see the church and its leadership as responsible to continually make the necessary changes in outreach methods and ministries to attract the unsaved and minister to their needs. We must become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some, 1 Corinthians 9:22. While the church is founded on the solid rock of ages she is to move with the wind, so is everyone that is born of the spirit. Jesus, the apostles and the first church built bridges to reach their culture and so must we.

We believe that an effective church or individual will have an understanding of and firm belief in fundamental Bible doctrine. They will have a consistent commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Each leader in the church will have daily times of prayer, devotion and meditation that will develop a love relationship with Him, His family and the unsaved.   It is our conviction that each member of the body of Christ has a special role to play. Therefore each is very valuable. We are members in particular. It is the will of God that His body be healthy and fully equipped to fulfill its role. It is therefore the responsibility of church leadership to equip and empower each believer so that they can minister effectively.

Ephesians 4:11, 12
11And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

The spiritual health of each individual will be achieved through their participation in discipleship training, giftedness evaluation and participation in a ministry that best suits their respective talents. Spiritual health requires stability, balance, involvement and opportunity for growth. It is our goal and therefore that of every leader of NLC to make this training, evaluation and opportunities for service available to every person.
